Keldy is a beautiful place - we have been a number of times before however this trip was the first we took our 7 month old Labrador - the pet friendly cabins were really clean and tidy and initially I was worried that they may smell a bit with them being pet friendly however it wasn't, it was as nice as every other cabin we have stayed in. The cabins are always clean, tidy and very well equipped and Keldy Forest is great for walks and there are lots of places within easy reach.

From start to finish the experience was truly amazing, despite the snow, the rain, the sleet and the cold. The walks are stunning and coming back to the warmth and comfort of the lodge and jumping in the hot tub is an experience not to be missed. Thoroughly recommend the dusk walk and the survival session- we learnt to make a shelter- haven't had so much fun for ages! Keldy is for everyone who wants to get away from everything and enjoy the wonders of the forest (and the hot tub)

After spending a short break at Keldy Forest I would highly recommend it to others. We stayed in the Silver Birch log cabin, this was a perfect size for a family of 4 and it was in a relaxing setting and the hot tube always stayed above 38 degree's. The only thing I would say is there a little activities to do in January/February so if I was to return I would come later in the year.

Nice setting in Keldy Forest, cabins were spacious, clean, well equipped, and lovely and warm in the January climate, the private hot tubs were an added luxury. The staff on site were very helpful, pleasant and enthusiastic in their work, overall a very enjoyable break.

The log cabins are of a high standard in a very good location. It is a very tranquil place with a marked abundance of wildlife all around. Staff at the complex are very helpful and are great at keeping the children busy with survival techniques and learning about the local wildlife. You will not be disappointed with this holiday.

I would recommend the log cabin, it was a lovely time away, very peaceful, lots of wildlife and the hot tub was fab and was cleaned out while we were there. We even had a log fire which set the mood and the cabin warmed up lovely! Will definitely try and come back for a visit as we really enjoyed the time away.

We stayed here following heavy snow so getting around was quite difficult. The lodges were lovely and warm and the wood burner and hot tub were great. We are hoping to go back again when the weather is better so we can appreciate the surroundings. It was great to see all the birds/squirrels coming on to the decking area when we put food out. The lodge was spacious with good facilities.

I would highly recommend Keldy Forest Cabins to anyone. The location is perfect for a quiet romantic getaway. The cabins are well equipped and comfortable. Put a plate of peanuts just outside the sliding doors and an array of wildlife will soon be tucking in.

A lovely secluded location with only rabbits and hedgehogs as neighbours. The log cabin was just right and the hot tub was addictive!! The site was in a good location that was in easy access to the Yorkshire Moors and Dales. A wonderful holiday!

I took my two young daughters for a long weekend in Pickering and all three of us enjoyed it very much! Luckily we had nice weather but it would have been equally as nice if it had rained. I would recommend the site and would certainly go back there again!

Keldy cabins is a fantastic little site with extremely friendly staff. The cabins are spacious and clean and I'd definitely recommend getting one with a hot tub and sitting in it to watch the sun go down. It is well worth hiring a bike as there are miles of tracks through the forest to explore and plenty of wildlife to see. If you don't feel like biking then there are plenty of ranger activities to do in and around the site such as wildlife watching or den making. These activities are great for small children. A great tip for those that want to see wildlife but not go too far is to put bread out on the balcony and watch the wildlife come to you. The site and the surrounding area is very quiet so perfect for those that just want to escape. All in all a great holiday experience.

Very relaxing holiday - great for outdoor activities. Rambling and cycling routes were excellent. The hot tub included with the Silver Birch cabin was definitely worth the extra.

I know people who would love this kind of holiday. The hot tub was a real bonus, we had a lot of fun. We hired bikes and the guy took great pains to make sure everything was spot on for us. The cabins were positioned so you did not overlook other balconies in the part where we were, which was nice. Well thought out, well maintained and well managed. Cabins were great and we will be using Keldy, or similar, again.

My husband and I have just returned from Keldy forest and cannot wait to go back again. The location is perfect, only 27 miles to Whitby. The staff were very, very helpful, the cabins were wonderful to stay in and with a hot tub on the decking, who could want for more. The forest itself had varied walks, depending how far you would want to walk and there were a range of activities on site including cycle hire. It was all a wonderful experience, peaceful, pretty and as relaxing as you want it to be. I would recommend this holiday very highly. Patricia Smith

I have just returned from a 3 night break at Keldy Forest and I would highly recommend this to anyone of any age. We had a lovely time, the lodges are amazing and furnished to a very standard, we especially enjoyed the hot tub. A gorgeous setting in the Vale of York...cabins are amazing...spacious, clean, warm and a very luxurious hot tub and private patio. Out in the sticks so perfect for a quiet walking holiday. We stocked up at the Co-op in the cute Cropton village then shut the world out for 4 great days, made better by very helpful and friendly Keldy Forest staff. Would definitely book again.

This has been the best UK holiday I have had. Keldy Forest Cabins are in beautiful surroundings with well posted walks for all abilities. A thoroughly enjoyable week long break in the beautiful Vale of Pickering. Great accommodation, the hot tub was great in the cold December evenings, and you soon warmed up in front of the log burner. There is lots to do in the North York Moors, and Keldy was a great base to explore from. The staff were very friendly, informative and eager to suggest local walks between 2 and 19 miles - we chose the middle ground!

A fantastic escape from daily life. The kids loved the forest setting and the little animal visitors we had each morning, and the hot tub was a huge hit with both kids and adults alike, especially after a long day sightseeing. A great location for exploring the area, we especially liked the steam train to Whitby, the James Herriot Museum in Thirsk and York (the park and ride at Monks Cross Shopping Centre was great value for money). Will be back again soon we hope!

It really was a lovely place to stay - we have been to many of the Hoseasons parks and this was among the best. You really felt as if you were a million miles away from it all! The staff were really friendly and helpful and the facilities were great. There was also many activities; we went on the orienteering course and had great fun. If you have children there would be plenty of activities for them, that would engage them in outdoor activities; broadening their knowledge of the countryside and what it has to offer. A great weekend and we would love to go back.

Keldy Forest was extremely peaceful. It is in a fantastic, picturesque location with ammenities near by if you need anything, or want an evening out. We stayed in a Silver Birch cabin, and spending the evening relaxing in front of the log fire, and even better in the hot tub was out of this world. This is an excellent park, the location is secluded, there are great walks from your door, the staff are excellent and its a great location for touring. If you're lucky enough to have a hot tub we enjoyed looking up at the stars at night relaxing in it on our verandah. If you're looking for a refreshing break look no further and book it 5 star! The holiday was one of the best we have had in the UK!

The best break you could have! The 3 nights we spent there was the most relaxing of my life. Treat yourself to a hot tub and you won't regret it, I sat in the luxurious warmth watching the sun go down. I cannot fault Keldy Forest - they were fantastic, in fact we have already booked to go back!

We cannot fault it - we had a lovely honeymoon in the VIP lodge. When the baby was asleep we would light the log burning stove and then go for a dip in the hot tub to relax. Perfect for families with young children.
